The first outing for Jedburgh Grammar Schools Young Ambassadors was to the Young Ambassadors conference at Ratho EICA. It was a chance for Craig and Nicole to get an insight and overview of what their role as Young Ambassadors would entail over the coming year. It was also a great chance to meet other YA from other schools as well as rubbing shoulders with some professional atheltes who were there to act as mentors for the pupils.
Highlight of the day (apart form the lunch) had to be hearing from and then getting to meet Laura Bartlett, who won a bronze medal with the womens GB hockey team at London 2012. (see picture)
Best of luck to Craig and Nicole as they embark on what is hopefully going to be a memorable experience for them as Young Ambassadors at Jedburgh Grammar School.
